What BETTER way to kick off the first day of summer than with some SHOPPING for the latest summer trends? On a bright and sunny Sunday afternoon, I grabbed my sister, some Starbucks, and we headed to the Grove City Premium Outlets. For those of you who are not familiar, the Grove City Premium Outlets is under an hour from Pittsburgh, offers over 130 brand name retailers, and is priced to save you at LEAST 65% off retail! Being an affordable fashion blogger, the outlets are the perfect place to look amazing on a budget! & I am offering you an exclusive discount, just for checking out this post!
Let me start off by giving you some tips on getting the most out of a trip to the outlets:
- Have a plan! you can easily shop for hours and run out of time to hit all the stores that you want to.
- I would 100% recommend signing up for the free VIP club, where you can get all the exclusive offers and deals. It’s super easy and quick to sign up! Once you do that, you will have an idea of all the great sales to hit!
- Next, grab a map. Life is so much easier when you have a map and you can circle all the stores that you want to go to.
- Don’t forget specialty food and kitchen stores! I always forget that the outlets have way more than just home goods, clothing and shoes. Often times I find that some of the outlet stores for kitchenware actually have better prices than I can find on Amazon! For example, I was able to purchase a brand new juicer from Kitchen Collection for $50, while the same one retails for over $100 on Amazon!
Starting with the “big ticket” stores…
My plan was to start at the “big ticket” stores where I knew I wanted to splurge! For that, we started our day off at the Kate Spade Outlet. If you caught my Instagram stories, the Kate Spade Outlet was offering 50-70% off the outlet prices. I was able to buy two travel crossbody bags – in neutral colors that will go with everything – for $180 TOTAL! That is less than $90 a bag! I also picked up a pair of Ray-ban sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut! Fun fact – they have an amazing warranty where if you scratch your glasses within the first year or break them, you get 50% off a replacement pair!
Next up: Francesca’s for unique summer finds:
After I purchased my big ticket items, it was time for some summer clothing shopping, my favorite! Lucky for me, every store that I went to had some amazing deals going on. Francesca’s was offering BOGO 50% off on all regular priced items, and for the semi-annual clearance sale, the items were on major sale from $4.97 – 14.97.
Fun Statement Earrings:
I knew I needed some really fun accessories – I bought ALL of these earrings below, and no pair was over $7.50! The ones from American Eagle were $2 each (yep, you read that right!), J Crew earrings were $5 each, and Francesca’s earrings were 2 for $15!
More Summer clothing…
Next up, I did some more Summer clothing shopping at Old Navy, AE, and the J Crew Outlet! Everything I purchased was under $25! I had a list of items that I definitely wanted to get – a pair of white shorts, a new hat, and a white dress. Luckily, the three stores above had me covered completely! I love making a list of my summer must-haves – it helps me shop more efficiently and stick to a budget! Below are some of my styled looks from the items I picked up at the Grove City Premium Outlets.
I hope you make a trip to the Grove City Premium Outlets to get summer ready! Whether you’re heading to the beach, going to a wedding, or just want to be stylish and on trend this Summer, you will find everything you could need (and don’t need, haha!) And I have a special promo for you running until July 3, 2019:

Hey Jen! Love this post! I’ll add the Grove City Premium Outlets to my list of things to do next time i’m in Pennsylvania. That blue, floral maxi is gorgeous…and I love the denim romper. I haven’t been to Francesca’s in a few years now… I might just stop in one of stores over the weekend! xo, tasha
